Testimonials

Buddy is a regular visitor to Deborah and we can tell he loves his time at Royal Usineach kennels. Buddy suffers from epilepsy and is on daily medication. Deborah has been very happy to look after him even with these challenges. We are fully confident of her care.

We know he is safe hands and honestly believe he has more fun on his holidays than we do… !

Never would we have ever imagined that Gyuri would be like this....it's hard to describe what he means to us OR what he is...he's no dog, he's no cat, he's a cuddling machine, our 4legged member of the family. The circus clown for sure, that makes us laugh and also keeps us active....our baby daughter simply adores him and will laugh and giggle whenever she sees him or when she watches do training or play with him....having said this...one can probably imagine we always want his wellbeing and put his feelings forward too whenever takin a family decision.....this includes holidays! It's hard to fly with pets and for Vizslas I'd say it's also a traumatic experience, given their sensitive nature....but where can he feel like home without being home? Answer is always Royal Usineach Vizslas! Deborah takes amazing care of him always! He's the happiest dog ever, and silly goose doesn't even look back after us when we leave him for holidays (we're the ones more "affected" 😄). We're very fortunate to know such a humble woman that worships the dogs. She treats them like her own, and takes great care of them. Did we mention we're driving 2.5h to her place? Yes! Some may think that driving from Cork to her kennels may be a bit of a drive - indeed it's not close....but seeing our boy enjoy his hols while we do ours has no price! We're always thankful.

Thanks from the bottom of our hearts auntie Deb!

When I decided to begin our breeding journey with our lovely Gigi, I had done about as much research as I thought I could possibly do, but always knew there were going to be real life situations where the vet or Google wouldn't be able to help us. Having known Deborah Keegan from Royal Hungarian Vizslas, I already knew how well recommended she was and the high standard of Vizslas she both bred, boarded and rescued.

When I first got in touch with Deborah she was so friendly and down to earth, so I knew we could work well together. Her knowledge of the breed and the Vizslas family trees was astounding and I quickly realised - research was only going to get me so far, but the gaps in my knowledge couldn't be filled with anything other than actual experience. Deborah was able to inform me exactly where Gigi's breeding lines had originated and so was able to provide a selection of stud dogs that would ensure the excellent lines were retained, but also ensuring no inbreeding was occurring.

Deborah was very honest and open from the out-set and I genuinely felt we were a team and not just transactional business partners. Throughout Gigi's pregnancy and whelping Deborah was a constant source of support. As this was Gigi and I's first litter, I was of course constantly second guessing myself and wondering if I was doing enough for Gigi and the puppies. I can honestly say that no matter how small the query was, Deborah always took my call or answered my text with reassurance. I honestly don't think we could have produced the standard of pup that we did, without her expert opinions and guidance.

Both Gigi and my other girl Lexi, now both board with Deborah whenever we need to travel. I was concerned that my older dog Lexi would not fare well being boarded, as she is very much a sofa loving dog and can suffer with some separation anxiety from time to time.  Deborah kept us up to date with daily photos and stories of their day.

Much to my surprise - Lexi didn't want to come home when we collected her!
