Voluntary Work

I applied for the volunteer position in September 2022 and stayed until January 2024. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life! I never actually had a dog before I came here (I always had cats) and I learned so much about them. Deborah showed me everything and trusted me with her dogs. I really got to improve my English and get to know Ireland. Deborah is very flexible when it comes to giving you a few days off to explore other parts of the country. 
I also really enjoyed being part of all the different dog events. Almost every Sunday there is a club meeting in different parts of the country where we got to meet up with other Vizslas. I also got to go to Pet Expo in October 2023 to help out with our stand. You really get to be included in all the activities.

All in all I would really recommend this experience and being part of a professional breeding and boarding kennels. Deborah and her family are lovely and all the dogs as well of course! It can be hard work sometimes but it is very rewarding and will definitely teach you a lot. Thanks so much for letting me be a part of it!
