Welcome to Royal Uisneach Hungarian Vizslas

Exceptional Hungarian Vizslas, thoughtfully bred for the field and the family home.

Our Story Begins Here

Royal Uisneachs boarding kennels are open all year round to accommodate everyone’s needs and travel plans.
Collection and Delivery can be arranged by us.
We are located 20 minutes from Centre Parcs in the very centre of Ireland beside the sacred site of The Hill of Uisneach.

We cater for Gun dogs but specialise in Vizsla, Weimaraner and Pointer breeds. All dogs are exercised on and off lead and are socialised three times a day with experienced handlers. They sleep on camp beds with mattresses and blankets in an insulated boarding house in separate pens. Meals are provided twice a day with a choice of grain free food and raw diets included.

All dietary requirements are catered for and medication administered if needed for dogs with any medical condition. Kennels are disinfected daily.
We are registered with the department of Environment.
We also welcome visitors to the kennels to view our dogs and provide information and advice on caring for these breeds. Visitors are welcome to arrange an appointment to view the dogs. This provides an opportunity to ask any questions on the breed and information about future litters.

Everyone is welcome to join our Vizsla clubs whether they own this breed or a similar dog

Club Meetings & Social Walks

Community, craic, and a sea of
rust-gold coats.

There is nothing quite like seeing a great pack of Vizslas running the beach together! We host regular club meetings, including our highly popular walks down on Bull Island. These gatherings are absolutely brilliant for socialization; it is the perfect, safe environment for younger dogs to learn the ropes, and a great way for older dogs to stay sharp. For the owners, it is a wonderful excuse to get out in the fresh air, have a chat, and swap stories with fellow gun dog enthusiasts.

Voluntary Work & Rescue

Giving back to the dogs who give us everything.

Our dedication to the breed extends to dogs who need a second chance.
We are actively involved in the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of dogs across Ireland, ensuring they find
the loving, secure homes they deserve.

Gap Year &
Volunteer Opportunities:

We are proud to offer a unique, hands-on voluntary placement for individuals passionate about building a career in the animal care industry. In exchange for all meals and accommodation, volunteers learn the ins and outs of canine nutrition, breed characteristics, and daily care, all while getting a wonderful opportunity to experience the rich culture of Ireland.
